Goodbye Wellington!  Hello New York!

We are back in New York!!  The horses travelled well and we are getting settled and organized to start the season up here.  Thank you Meadowbrook Transportation for taking such good care of my boys.  Once again we are stabled in the beautiful Tripp Stables, a peaceful 10 stall barn in Bedford Corners.

I had an amazing season in Florida at Stillpoint Farm.  I am so greatful that I was able to show Granada (aka Koa), owned by Sam Grunkorn in the GP ring again.  He is feeling better than ever and he keeps proving to me everyday that he is the horse of a lifetime.  I also had the amazing oportunity to show Wasmut (aka Monkey), owned by Debbie Mullaney, who taught me a lot with the guidance of Oded Shimoni.  My student, Asia Rupert Ondaatje had a succesful season as well in the Pony classes and did her debut in 3rd level with her pony Otinio.  She was also a member of the WIT program.

I look forward to a great summer filled with new horses and clients 🙂

Global Dressage Festival

Wasmut and I had another super show together.  Yesterday we came in 2nd in the PSG with a 66.5%.  Today we won the Int 1 class with a 68.15%.  We had a clean test and it was smoother than the day before.

It has been a lot of fun to get  to know this horse in the show ring.  Our next show is the Nations Cup in the middle of April.

Thank you Debbie Mullaney for giving me the opportunity to show such an amazing horse, and Oded Shimoni for all his help coaching me before and during the show and thank you Marco Esteves for having Monkey spotless and taking some amazing pictures of us.

Palm Beach Derby

Granada (aka Koa) owned by Sam Grunkorn and I had a great weekend at the Palm Beach Derby.  Yesterday we won the Open Grand Prix class with a 64.9%, we had a few little mistakes but he was very willing and positive in the ring.  Today we won the huge FEI ToC GP with a 67.3%.  We had a clean test and again his attitude in the ring was incredible.  I couldn’t be happier!! What a horse!!! — Did I mention he is 17??
